Our Residential Care homes across metropolitan Melbourne provide shared housing that supports up to four young people at any given time. 24 hour care and support is provided to our young people by a rostered team of Uniting Residential Carers.

These children are among the most vulnerable people in our community. They have experienced significant trauma and, without appropriate care and support, face a difficult future.

Our aim is to provide each person in our care with a safe and stable home, while helping them reach their full potential. In a therapeutic environment, we work with each young person to make positive choices, maintain their health and education, encourage family and cultural connections and prepare for independent living.

Residential care placement services are managed by the Department of Health and Human Services.
