The adolescent community placement program provides home-based care for young people aged 13 to 17 years who are experiencing crisis and are unable to live with their families for a range of reasons.
This program enables young people to reside in a home-like environment with the support and supervision of approved live-in volunteer carers.
Have you considered caring for a young person?
An exciting opportunity is available to join us as a carer in this program.
We’re looking for people aged 21 and over to provide loving, nurturing and safe care to up to three young people in care, who can not live with their own families.
This caring role is a full-time, long-term, live-in commitment, supported by regular respite. You’ll receive free accommodation and utilities, along with a generous tax-free reimbursement.
Before commencing your caring role, you’ll receive comprehensive training to prepare you for your new role. And once you’re accredited and placed in one of our homes, you have our support 24-hours a day.
Please contact us on (03) 8870 4070 for more details on this volunteer role with a difference.
