121 refuge

Wesley’s 121 youth refuge is a safe and supportive short-term refuge for 16 – 21 year olds across Melbourne who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

Many young people who attend the program find their lives are in crisis for various reasons. The program offers short-term accommodation while they get their lives back on track.

We assist each young person at the refuge to address and resolve the issues that may have contributed to their current situation and move forward, out of homelessness. In addition to accommodation, the refuge also offers:

  • case management
  • short term counselling
  • outreach support
  • life skills development
  • education, employment and training support
  • advocacy
  • community and recreational activities
  • referrals to other services.

How do I access this service?

Referrals are through our Initial Assessment and Planning (IAP) Team at the Homelessness Entry Point. Telephone 8870 4020.
